ICD 10 implementation date

ICD 10 implementation is scheduled to be in 2013 and there will be two years time to implement it. Those who are certified coders will have to reappear for ICD 10 recertification exam from AAPC and Ahima

Although ICD 10 implementation will begin from 2013 there is a two year window for implementation. Also certified coders will requires to take ICD 10 recertification exams by AHIMA and AAPC within two years of implementation
