Completed medical coding course what's next

I finished my studies in Medical Insurance Billing,Coding and Office Administration. What are the next steps I need to take. What steps did you take to get certified?

First step is to your certification that is CPC or CCS from AAPC or AHIMA.

As you are not experienced, got for certification either the CPC (AAPC) or CCS-P( AHIMA)

Employers only hire people with 2 years experience, even if you are certified, they will want experience.

Most new grads don't have experience and run into problems finding a job, try to get one elsewhere in the HIM field like medical records, billing, data entry, front desk, etc.
